The Commanding Officers

The Cadet Force was established with a commandant seconded from the military. Since 1910 twenty seven individuals have been appointed to the post mostly British Officers. Lt. Col K. Gittens was the first local appointed to command having come through the ranks as a cadet and served during the transition to nationhood. Commandants have left their mark transforming the organisation to meet the new cahallenges of the day.
